It is designed to treat and prevent flea and tick infestations in dogs. This solution is safe for use in breeding, pregnant, and lactating dogs. It is suitable for dogs from 8 weeks of age and weighing at least 2kg. Once applied, Bravecto Spot-on is absorbed into the dog's bloodstream through the skin. The active ingredient, fluralaner, then distributes and persists for 6 months, providing nose-to-toes protection. This systemic profile makes Bravecto suitable for dogs that swim or are bathed regularly. It is important to note that dogs should not be washed or shampooed within 3 days of treatment. Here are the key features of Bravecto Spot-On 500Mg for Medium Dogs: - Treatment and prevention of flea and tick infestations in dogs - Suitable for dogs from 8 weeks of age and weighing at least 2kg - Provides 6 months of protection - Works inside the dog, providing nose-to-toes protection - Safe for use in breeding, pregnant, and lactating dogs To administer Bravecto Spot-On 500Mg for Medium Dogs: Step 1: Open the sachet and remove the pipette. Hold the pipette upright and rotate the cap one full turn to open it. Step 2: Ensure the dog is standing or lying with its back horizontal. Place the pipette tip vertically against the skin between the shoulder blades of the dog. Step 3: Gently squeeze the pipette and apply the entire contents directly to the dog's skin in one or several spots along the dog's dorsal line from the shoulder to the base of the tail. Avoid applying more than 1 ml of solution at any one spot to prevent running or dripping off the dog. Please use caution when using Bravecto Spot-On 500Mg for Medium Dogs in dogs with a history of seizures, as seizures have been reported in dogs receiving fluralaner, even in dogs without a history of seizures.
